  • Where is the Blossom Bar?
    In line with the Jufferstraat in 3806 Velm (Sint-Truiden), between bicycle junctions 186 and 359.
  • What are the opening hours?
    Our pop-up bar will open its doors from Saturday, April 1 to Sunday, May 14, 2023. Monday to Thursday: 11:30 AM - 5:30 PM Friday and Saturday: 11:30 am - sunset Sunday: 9:00 am - sunset Easter holiday: 11.30 am - sunset
  • Where is the best place to park?
    At the Gemeenteplein in Velm (via N80): 2.5 km to Bloesembar Or in the Kruisstraat: 1.5 km to Bloesembar
  • Is there a shuttle service?
    We provide free shuttle service every day, these run every 20 minutes and stop at the Gemeenteplein in Velm, the Kruisstraat and the Bloesembar. One bus can carry 23 people, there are also golf carts that can carry about 4 people at a time.
  • Rijdt de shuttleservice elke dag?
    Ja, de shuttleservice rijdt van begin tot einde om de 20 minuten. Deze stopt aan het Gemeenteplein en in de Kruisstraat in Velm.
  • When are there blossoms?
    In 2021, Haspengouw was in bloom from April 5 to May 4. We can't give an exact date yet, but April is the blossom month par excellence. From the end of March you can follow the development of the blossoms closely via the Blossom Meter.
  • Is there children's entertainment?
    We provide some toys for the children, there is also a bouncy castle every day. On Sunday there is children's entertainment from 2 pm to 6 pm.
  • Zijn honden welkom?
    Uiteraard! Paarden, katten, honden, uilen, ... alle dieren zijn welkom bij ons.
  • Is the Blossom bar open in bad weather?
    De Bloesembar is always open, even in bad weather. Even in colder temperatures you will be nice and warm in our bar.
  • Can I pay with a bank card?
    Yes, we are equipped with terminals where everyone can pay with bancontact or payconic. Cash is also still possible.
  • Which cycling route should I take to get to you?
    You can reach us by following Loop 1 (the generous nature) of the cycling map: cycling between blossoms and fruit. The bar is located between junction 186 and 359.
